How Extra-Sages started

Sam, an embedded software and hardware expert, started his own small electronics technology firm since 1997. Roger and Jay, two vigorous young designers who have been working in security system industry for five years since graduated. All of them found that local market increasingly prefers “smart lock” but those products still cannot give real-time information to the user when he needs it while he’s away, notwithstanding those products have had smart functions such as using fingerprint or mobile Bluetooth to access or control the entrance. They decided to build their own intelligent lock for the market.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey, an overseas returnee and a professional of finance and management working in multinational electronics organization for nearly two decades, he also went to look for a security system that should be simple to set up and doesn’t cost a fortune. After realizing there were no options available, he decided to invest a team to create an innovative solution that prioritized simplicity, intelligence, and affordability. He shared the vision with Sam, Roger and Jay, and then XUANHUA (i.e.”Extra-Sages”) was born.

When we launched

Since June of 2017, we started to research and develop our first product (“SAGES FS3-W”). After 12 months, we have completed debugging and detecting system internally, and we scheduled to achieve both of domestic and international certificates for market access requirements by the end of September, 2018. In the last quarter of 2018, Extra-Sages will launch a crowdfunding campaign on the local and international crowdfunding platforms respectively. We hope the campaigns would prove that Extra-Sages is a product people need and want all over the world.
